At the Manufactory, our vision was always to bridge past and present.

To bring a contemporary presence to one of the most recognisable buildings in London, while paying homage to its heritage.

For over 200 years, the Heal’s Building has been the home of British design.

A place where innovation, manufacturing and production were exquisitely fused.

The Manufactory brand had to embody the rich history and craftsmanship that is evident throughout the building, while it an identity that feels contemporary and future-proofing it for generations to come.

We partnered with DNCO, one of the most renowned creative studios for place and culture worldwide, to create an identity that is distinctive, playful and decidedly unconventional.

It has become an essential part of the building’s creative fabric, responding to all the things that make this place unique – including the Heal’s bronze cat mascot 🐈-and referencing archival materials, transformed for the 21st century

Transforming a design and manufacturing institution into a place to craft the future.
