We are proud to announce that construction has started on site at Walworth Town Hall.

After being ravaged by fire in 2013, the historic building was placed in the Heritage at Risk register, and remained closed to the public.

Working with architects Feix and Merlin, we will carry out a sensitive light-touch refurbishment that will seek to salvage and celebrate the existing fabric and intricate architectural details.

The highly significant rooms will be restored in a scholarly like for like manner and the other rooms will leave part of the damaged fabric on display.

We have been working closely with the local community to make sure what we are delivering here truly answers their needs, while honouring the history and heritage of the building.

In our ambition to restore Walworth Town Hall to its former glory, the design works to inspire and motivate, bringing a new lease of life and a contemporary vision to the building – repositioning it as the vibrant cultural and community hub it once was.

We can’t wait to welcome you back to this iconic landmark.

Construction is expected to complete in Q4 2023.
