Susie Buffett

This interview with Susie Buffett is surprisingly touching and well worth sitting through in its entirety.

→ The anecdote about Warren and the colander is priceless. Straight out of fiction.

→ This isn’t stated explicitly anywhere in the interview, but hearing her talk about how they should give away more of their money, and then to know that he gave away almost the entirety of his fortune a year or so after her death is both sad and wonderful. A peak behind the curtain in what must have been an incredibly hard time for him.

→ The big takeaway for me, of course, is that I need to convince my wife that I’m a genius so that she’ll let me get away with being such an airhead.
